Looking for a Great Vacation Spot this Summer?
If you are not quite sure where you are going to go on vacation this summer consider traveling to Arlington, Texas to visit the International Bowling Campus.
Why in the world would I ever want to go there?
The International Bowling Campus is the home of the: Bowling Proprietors Association of America (BPAA); United States Bowling Congress (USBC), International Bowling Hall of Fame (IBHOF); and International Training and Research Center (ITRC).You may not be crazy about visiting the offices of BPAA and USBC (and I agree with you), BUT the Hall of Fame and the Training and Research Center are really two gems that every avid bowler must see and if you are not an avid bowler there is also much more to see in the area (I’ll explain later). But first view the short video below for a brief introduction.

Pretty Cool, HUH?
The Hall of Fame has 5,000 years of history and 18,000 sq. ft. of fun. If you are looking for more information on the Hall of Fame visit: www.bowlingmuseum.com.
If you are interested in perfecting your game or just see where the best bowlers in the world come to train or how USBC tests bowling pins and balls and all other aspects of the game. It is one of only 34 National Governing Body Training Centers in the world that has gone through the rigorous certification process to display the Olympic Symbol as an authorized training facility (example: Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee)
Make sure you check out the ITRC, it is truly remarkable. Want more information on the ITRC visit: www.bowlingitrc.com.
For those of you that want to take in more while in Arlington, the IBC is located close to Cowboy Stadium and is just a couple blocks from Texas Ranger Stadium and right across the street from Six Flags amusement park – all are within easy walking distance.
I know a lot of you have heard about the magnificent new Cowboy Stadium, well take a tour and see how unbelievable it really is.
A trip to Arlington, Texas this summer would be fun for the whole family and very memorable.
